ScareCrow Competition & Tour 2021
Please join us in creating and displaying Scarecrows in our community.
Competition is free and open to all residents, businesses, and community groups in the Tenino School
District area. Creativity and imagination is encouraged; there are no limits on how crazy you can be. Your
entry can be traditional, humorous, or contemporary. Remember that this is a community event for all
ages. Please no political, or profane displays. Scarecrow must be visible from the road. The deadline to
enter is Saturday, October 30th. The Scarecrows will be judged by an anonymous panel. Winners will be
announced for Business/Group and Residential Categories on November 8th. Prizes will be $21 Wooden
Money Script for 1st Place, $10 Gift Certificate for 2nd Place and $5 Gift Certificate for 3rd Place to a
Chamber member of the winner’s choice.
The details:
By entering, you will be automatically giving permission to the Tenino Area Chamber of Commerce and
partners to include the address where the Scarecrow is located and to photograph or videotape your
home/ business/Group for publication. Only your address will be publicized (not name, or any other
personal information).
