Oregon Trail Days – Tenino, WA

July 23 - July 25

Oregon Trail Days – Tenino, WA

Oregon Trail Days is an annual event held the 4th weekend of EVERY July.
It all started in 1834 when pioneers from the East chose to travel over 2,000 miles to the Pacific Northwest. At that time there was no State of Oregon (1859) or State of Washington (1889), there was only Oregon Country and trails made by the Mountain Men fur traders. Tenino is proud to have not one, but two Oregon Trail Markers and we invite you to come experience this part of our history.
Our three-day celebration is filled with the annual WA Agate & Mineral Society’s Rock, Gem & Mineral Show, and the Gib Isaakson Memorial Black Powder Shoot with their Mountain Men Trader’s Row. A must see is the Tenino Depot Museum’s Pioneer Village, which is filled with FREE interactive displays and loved by all ages. Get tickets to Tenino’s Young-at-Heart Theatre presentation and the concerts being held Friday & Saturday night. Find a good spot to view our annual Trail Days Parade on Saturday and check out the Farmer’s Market with their produce and crafts vendors, you might even get to buy yourself a piece of pie from their Blue-Ribbon Pie contest! But that’s not all, we just can’t fit it all in this little space! So, keep an eye out for our Schedule of Events and come check Tenino out for yourself!
